Open Box Pewter Weighted Blanket

Size Guide

SIZE & WEIGHT

DIMENSIONS:
○ 42” x 74”
○ Made for individual use

Our weighted blankets are about the size of a twin blanket. With larger blankets like a Queen or King size, the weight is wasted on the bed instead of the person receiving the benefit. Also, the size of our blankets make them easier to handle, especially for those who choose one of our heavier weighted blankets.

WEIGHT:
Take 10% of your body weight to choose the best weight for your body. If you are in the middle of two weights, we recommend that you select the lighter weight.

FABRIC

○ 100% cotton
○ Filled with a FDA Grade PVC compound (plastic beads) in secure pockets
○ Washer and dryer safe

When you receive your weighted blanket, you may find blue chalk lines along the seams. These are drawn on during the sewing process to ensure straight sewing lines. The lines will disappear after the first wash.

BENEFITS

Weighted blankets help you relax and sleep. 💤

○ Reduces anxiety
○ Feels like you’re being hugged or held gently
○ Improves your quality of sleep

USAGE

FOR BETTER SLEEP:
It may take a few nights to get used to the weight and change old patterns. We recommend you try sleeping with your blanket for at least a week and in a few different ways to see how your body is best comforted.

○ Place the weighted blanket on top of your comforter, covering your whole body from chest to toes.
○ Use the weighted blanket on top of your sheet, with no comforter.
○ Place the weighted blanket on only the LOWER half of your body.
○ Place the weighted blanket on only the UPPER half of your body.

FOR ANXIETY:
Cover yourself with your weighted blanket. Then, intentionally notice each part of your body.

○ Start with your feet - notice the pressure of the blanket on your feet.
○ Notice your knees - sometimes squeezing your knees together can help you “get in” your body more.
○ Notice the pressure of the blanket on your torso.
○ Notice the feeling of the weight on your chest and shoulders.

RETURNS

Open Box weighted blankets are final sale and therefore not eligible for return.
